Style Guide Design

We need to create a style guide that memorializes our website style (specific colors, fonts), elements (navigation - web and mobile), and common components. Our goal is to document our current conventions, and use the reference to drive continuity for future iterations and development.

We're looking for a volunteer who's excited about our mission and has experience with brand and voice.

This is a highly visible project because all developers, product team members, and customers will use it as a reference! This style guide may also include the following:

-Rules and guidelines for staff and board members to maintain website brand consistency:
-Components (Border radius, carousel/card slider, buttons, forms, filters)
-Widgets/cards (like a job, career path, or training posting 'card')
-Navigation (drop-down menu, hamburger menus, accordion menu, in-page links, modals)
-Composition
-Grid layout
-Typography & icon usage

LAUNCH for Jobseekers and Employers aims to support Arkansas residents facing some of the highest barriers to employment. To achieve these goals, LAUNCH must deliver a low-friction, seamless, and consistent experience.

We'll share our LAUNCH web guidelines with our internal team, external developers, partners, and customers. Our team will also come prepared with examples of similar style guides. The volunteer will have access to LAUNCH for Employers and Jobseekers. During the interview, we'll ask to see your portfolio examples of your graphic designs and web guidelines or style guides you have developed.
