We are searching for a skilled social media volunteer to build and execute a 3-month content plan that increases awareness of Truth Hackers, drives engagement with our educational media, and supports our fundraising efforts.

The volunteer will help us:

Develop a social media calendar across key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter).

Create and curate posts that highlight our mission, projects, and impact stories.

Design simple graphics (using Canva or similar tools) for posts and campaigns.

Assist with short video content or reels that bring our work to life.

Monitor engagement and share insights so we can adjust strategy as needed.

Our goal is to leave this engagement with:

A ready-to-use content plan for the next 3 months.

Branded, reusable templates for future posts.

An increase in followers and engagement that positions us for successful donor outreach.

The ideal volunteer can commit 2–5 hours per week, collaborate with us remotely, and bring creative ideas to amplify our mission of fighting misinformation and building a culture of truth.
Truth Hackers exists to help people think critically, evaluate information, and make informed choices in an era when misinformation can spread faster than the truth. Our educational media, creative campaigns, and community outreach are designed to strengthen the skills people need to seek, verify, and share accurate information with confidence.

A strong social media presence is essential to achieving this mission. It’s how we connect with new audiences, inspire supporters, and share tools that empower individuals to navigate today’s information landscape. By creating a strategic content plan, engaging posts, and reusable templates, this project will directly increase our reach and influence.

Every new follower, share, and meaningful interaction represents another person better equipped to spot falsehoods, value truth, and participate in respectful dialogue. Your work will help us make the truth louder, faster, and more engaging — ultimately contributing to a more informed and resilient public.
Truth Hackers is ready to hit the ground running with a social media volunteer. Our leadership team has already defined our brand voice, identified our target audiences, and outlined key themes for upcoming campaigns. We have active social media accounts, a library of images, videos, and graphics, and a clear sense of the stories we want to tell.

We’ve secured full internal buy-in — both organizational leaders will be directly involved in collaborating with the volunteer, providing timely feedback, and ensuring decisions are made quickly so momentum isn’t lost. We’ve also set aside dedicated time each week to review progress and adjust direction as needed.

The volunteer’s work will be put into action immediately. Our goal is to integrate the 3-month content plan and new templates directly into our active posting schedule, ensuring their contributions have visible, measurable impact. This isn’t a “plan that sits on a shelf” — it’s a live, mission-critical project that will strengthen our fundraising and public engagement in real time.
