Podcast Story-Coaching Framework Development

We are seeking a skilled volunteer to help Creshendo develop a Story Coaching Framework for our upcoming podcast. This framework will guide our team in supporting guests. These guests are often migrants, refugees, or individuals with profound lived experience who are not professional speakers. The goal of this podcast is to give them space to be heard, not just interviewed.

The volunteer will:
-Design a story-coaching process and conversation guide our team can follow when working with future guests.
-Provide sample exercises or prompts that help storytellers organize their thoughts and find their authentic voice.
-Coach one staff member on how to use these tools effectively in a trauma-informed, empowering way.

The final deliverable will be a practical story-coaching guide and toolkit that enables our team to help guests share their stories with clarity, confidence, and impact.

The aim is not to script anything, but to help people tell the story they want to tell with impact, flow, and clarity. The purpose of this is to expose the world to their journeys, build compassion, and provide an opportunity of healing through freedom of expression.

Creshendo exists to shift power and visibility back to migrant and displaced communities. Our storytelling project was built in direct response to what people told us they need, to be heard.

This podcast gives them that space. Your role as a story coach helps ensure that space feels empowering, not intimidating. You’ll be helping people who have often been silenced learn to share their story with confidence and purpose.

You’ll work closely with the Creshendo team. We’ll provide a guest schedule, background information, and prep materials. You’ll receive support from our communications and storytelling leads.

Essentially, our team handles the logistics. You bring the art of story.
