Grant Proposal Review
To implement this grant writing project, we'll need two meetings with a volunteer. In our first meeting, we will provide you with a copy and review the application draft with you. We'll align on expectations and agree on the project timeline. Next, you'll review our document using the track changes function checking for inconsistencies and continuity errors, and creates a list of recommended changes to share with us. The project will conclude after up to two rounds of edits which the volunteer will make the agreed-upon changes to the document.
- Creating strong funding proposals. Your compelling writing will build a narrative around our work, helping to attract grantors who align with our goals.
- Building a sustainable organization. By helping us secure new grants, you will contribute to a stable funding base that ensures the long-term viability of our projects.
- Enabling program growth. Winning grants will allow us to launch new initiatives, expand existing services, and reach more people in our community.
- Your contribution as a grant-writing volunteer isn't just about crafting documents; it's about telling the stories that drive real, tangible change in our community.
Here's a glimpse of the impact you will support:
Research to results: When you research and identify a potential funding opportunity, you're not just finding a name. You're discovering a chance to launch a new program, secure new equipment, or expand a service that helps your neighbors.
Numbers to narratives: When you help us articulate a project's goals, you're giving a voice to the statistics. Your words will transform data about community needs into a compelling story that shows a funder exactly how their investment will transform lives.
Proposals to programs: Imagine the day a grant comes through. You'll know that your hard work helped put new resources directly into the hands of those who need them most. The proposal you drafted could lead to a new literacy program for children, a career-training workshop for adults, or a support system for seniors—programs that all began with your time and talent.
