NexoAfrica is seeking a skilled volunteer to help us design and execute a revenue generation strategy that will sustain and expand our growing initiatives. We aim to build a clear framework for fundraising, sponsorship outreach, and earned-income opportunities aligned with our mission. The volunteer will help identify new revenue streams, refine partnership decks, develop sponsorship packages, and structure a membership or fee-based model for our professional cohorts. This project will build upon our recent partnerships with organizations such as the World Bank, Ashoka, Morehouse College, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation–funded Global Youth Project, as well as our collaborations with ThinkForward VC, AgoraVisa, and Maven Sawyer Yards. With a skilled volunteer’s help, we’ll create a roadmap that strengthens NexoAfrica’s financial sustainability and positions us for long-term impact.
NexoAfrica’s mission is to build a thriving community of young African professionals seeking to advance their careers and partake in global initiatives. Strengthening our revenue model directly supports this mission by ensuring we can expand programs that promote professional growth, entrepreneurship, and global collaboration. With a stronger financial foundation, we’ll be able to scale initiatives such as our NexoFutures Lab, From Analyst to Angel workshop series, and our Anchored Futures youth project (a bi-city partnership with Morehouse College tackling youth displacement and employment). The volunteer’s expertise will empower NexoAfrica to convert our current momentum into long-term sustainability—funding mentorship programs, business accelerators, and international policy forums that bridge African talent with global opportunity.
We’ve already secured 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status and gained significant traction through high-impact programs and partnerships. Our leadership team—including board members and partners across policy, business, and creative industries—has aligned on the need for a formal sustainability plan. We’ve prepared core materials such as sponsorship decks, pitch templates, donor lists, and impact briefs from our recent initiatives, including Culture x Capital Houston (in partnership with Maven Sawyer Yards and ThinkForward VC) and the NexoAfrica Business Accelerator. The volunteer will be supported by our Founder and Director of Partnerships and have access to organized files, brand assets, and previous sponsorship communications. We’ll ensure consistent check-ins, collaboration tools (Google Drive, Trello, Canva), and a shared vision for measurable deliverables. Our team is ready and committed to implementing the outcomes of this project immediately.
