Marketing Strategist — Social Media & Donor Communications Plan for Nonprofit Launch
Deliverables include:
• 30-day social media content calendar (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
• Email newsletter framework and first draft template
• Donor communications guide — cadence, messaging, and audience differentiation (funders vs. individual donors)
We serve two distinct audiences: healthcare/institutional funders and individual donors and families. Our volunteer will help us communicate effectively with both.
Right now we have the strategy on paper but not the execution capacity to bring it to life. A marketing strategist will help us:
• Build a social media presence that educates and engages families, caregivers, and community partners
• Create donor communications that convert awareness into financial support
• Differentiate our messaging so that a hospital discharge planner, a foundation program officer, and a family caregiver all feel spoken to directly
Every dollar we raise through effective communications goes directly to serving low-income seniors, individuals living with dementia, and families navigating urgent care crises. This volunteer's strategic guidance will have a multiplier effect — it will make every other fundraising channel we activate more effective, and bring us closer to serving our first families.
• Our landing page is live at nestvy.com/foundation — the volunteer has a full picture of our mission and messaging immediately
• We have a completed fundraising channels document identifying 13 specific channels across four time horizons — this becomes the briefing document for any strategy session
• Our target audiences are clearly defined: healthcare and institutional funders, and individual donors and family caregivers
• I am the single point of contact — Elise Goodwin, PMP — for all communication and approvals
• A kickoff brief with scope, timeline, and milestones will be confirmed in writing before work begins
• All feedback returned within 24 hours
We will not expand scope mid-engagement. If new marketing needs arise, we will open a new Taproot project.
