We want to build a structured social media strategy, an optimized content calendar, and reusable visual templates designed to attract, engage, and grow an audience of higher education students, school educators, higher education educators, researchers, and health professionals.
We are seeking a digital marketing volunteer to help our organization effectively reach and engage niche professional communities online. Our primary target audience consists of higher education students, school educators, higher education educators, researchers, and health professionals. Because these groups look for high-value, credible, and informative content, we need an expert to help us refine our messaging and optimize our channels to build trust and drive organic growth.

Since this project operates on a limited schedule of 2–5 hours per week over a multi-week period, we want to focus on high-impact, structured deliverables that our internal team can easily maintain after the project concludes.

The volunteer will assist us with the following specific tasks:

Audience Messaging Framework: Review our current channels and suggest positioning tactics that specifically resonate with academics, students, and healthcare professionals.

Content Calendar Template: Build a sustainable, 4-week master content calendar utilizing scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Buffer) so we can plan and automate our posting.

Engagement Plan: Provide a basic outreach guide outline (e.g., specific hashtags, academic/medical community groups, or tagging strategies) to organically find and connect with these demographics.

Graphic Templates: Design 5–10 customizable, clean, and professional graphic templates in Canva tailored to educational and research-driven content.

Our main goal is to transition away from ad-hoc posting and move toward a streamlined system that consistently captures the attention of educators, researchers, and students. We look forward to collaborating with a marketer who is passionate about education and health professional engagement!
Our organization, the International Council for Education, Research and Training (ICERT), is globally committed to advancing educational, scientific, and charitable goals. Guided by our motto, “Knowledge, Wisdom and Prosperity,” we firmly believe that inclusive and equitable access to education, research, and professional development is the key to sustainable social progress.

By helping us successfully reach and engage higher education students, school educators, researchers, and health professionals, your marketing expertise will directly amplify our core mission: promoting the application of scientific knowledge and inclusive education for the benefit of society.

Here is exactly how your time and talents will make an impact:

Empowering the Academic Community: Your strategy will help us deliver quality learning solutions, curriculum insights, and teacher-training resources directly into the hands of educators and students worldwide.

Advancing Scientific & Social Research: By engaging researchers and health professionals, you will help us build a highly credible, global network that champions scientific innovation, research publishing, and public service.

Driving Global Well-being: A streamlined, professional digital presence will allow us to advocate more effectively at the intersection of education, technology, health, and sustainability.

Ultimately, your digital marketing talents will not just live on a screen—they will be the driving force that connects ICERT’s programs to the global changemakers, educators, and professionals who have the power to build a more equitable, empowered world. We can't wait to collaborate with you!
To ensure we make the absolute best use of your 2–5 hours per week, we have done the legwork to set this project up for immediate success. Our organization has secured full internal buy-in, and our team is fully aligned and ready to support you.

Here is how we have prepared for your arrival:

Assets Ready to Go: We have compiled a shared folder containing our brand guidelines, logo files, mission statements, and links to our active social media profiles so you can review them on day one.

Defined Target Audience Data: We have clear insights into the types of higher education students, educators, researchers, and health professionals we want to reach, meaning we can dive straight into strategy rather than starting from scratch.

Dedicated Point of Contact: You will work directly with a designated team member who is available for a weekly check-in, quick feedback, and approval on all deliverables.

How your work will be implemented:
We are not looking for a temporary fix; we are looking to build a sustainable system. Once you help us create the content calendar, messaging framework, and Canva templates, our internal team will fully take over the day-to-day management and execution. Your strategic groundwork will directly empower us to maintain a consistent, professional, and highly engaging digital presence long after the project concludes.
