We are looking for a CPA to help us conduct an independent financial review of our organization's financial statements for fiscal years 2023-2025.

The volunteer will:
- Review financial records in QuickBooks Online.
- Verify accuracy of statements of activities and financial position.
- Provide a formal independent review report or letter as required by grantors.
The project enables us to be eligible for a $90,000 grant, which will commission and install a sculpture paying homage to the history of the park and will be the springboard for our largest project to date, the $1,000,000 renovation of the mass transit entrance to Atlanta's only Art Park (Freedom Park). We are working in concert with the City of Atlanta on this long term project, and they plan to commit a significant amount to the project's new playscape and recreation elements.
After COVID stalled efforts for our volunteer-run park conservancy to grow and become proactive stewards of Freedom Park, we are gaining momentum each year with new Board leadership securing meaningful grants for park projects. We have updated our books through 2025 and have a new treasurer and more robust online accounting software through Quickbooks. An audit would allow us to proceed with a current $90,000 grant opportunity that we are uniquely qualified for.
