Website UX and Accessibility Audit

A concise UX audit report that reviews site functionality for current and prospective patients, highlights usability and accessibility gaps (language, literacy, mobile), summarizes relevant Google Analytics findings, and provides prioritized, actionable recommendations and next steps. Ultimately, we would like patients to be able to:

- Find the translate button
- Quickly get our phone number, hours of operation, maps to locations, and other logistical information
- Find and understand relevant information about our insurance types, sliding fee scales, and payment information
- Access and understand the patient portal for pre-registration, results, and more (website links to a separate portal site)
- Research providers, services, and programs, building trust and confidence in the patient experience
- Read, listen to, or watch FAQs that are segmented by type of interaction and engagement
- Get health information
- Access a site that adheres to health communications guidelines around literacy levels, comfort with technology, mobile access, and other considerations for our patient population

Improving website usability will increase access to care for low-income, primarily Spanish-speaking families by making translation, contact details, insurance/payment info, the patient portal, provider info, FAQs, and health resources easier to find and use, supporting IWS Family Health’s mission.

We will provide Google Analytics access, translators to support user research, and a project lead to coordinate stakeholders and share background materials. A contracted WordPress vendor is available for small updates; larger work may follow. Staff will be available for regular check-ins.
