Technical Audit and Roadmap for Unity Cross-Platform Game

We are looking for a volunteer to conduct a technical audit of our communication game and provide a roadmap for cross-platform stability. EnTeam Organization provides educators with tools to strengthen collaborative learning. We have a working prototype of a game designed to measure student communication, but it currently resides on the Unity game engine and suffers from performance issues on Mac and mobile devices. We need an expert to diagnose these bottlenecks and provide a clear plan (and initial implementation if time permits) for making the game usable across platforms: phones, laptops, and Chromebooks. Success for this project looks like a stable build that runs smoothly on both desktop and mobile, or a detailed migration plan if a rebuild is necessary. We have source files and team members ready to support your review. This technical foundation will eventually allow us to integrate multiplayer features and bring this tool to more classrooms.ing and in-game voice chat, deliver tested builds or a clear migration plan, and provide documentation. Improving this game will give educators a reliable tool to measure and strengthen students' communication and listening through collaborative play. Volunteers' work will make the game usable across devices and increase its adoption in classrooms, supporting EnTeam’s mission to promote collaborative learning.

We have a working Unity prototype and team members ready to share source files, describe gameplay, and collaborate with the volunteer. We will participate in interviews, provide access for testing, and make decisions jointly. Volunteers can recommend rebuild vs. repair and guide our next steps. Details will be provided.
